UPDATE: The P300 only looks like the S95 and LX5 on the outside.  On the inside, where it really matters, the camera has a small sensor and the fast lens is only fast zoomed out.  As a result of this information I do not recommend the P300, image samples are less than impressive.  Please see my P&S list for better values – Recommended Point and Shoot Cameras   I have several new high-end Point and shoot cameras that I need to blog about – One was just leaked.  The Nikon P300.  Serious competitor to the Canon S95 and Lumix LX5 lines – P300 Specs:
