Actually at this price point it is quite an amazing camera that even fits in your pocket and has the option of full manual control; something not usually found on these smaller point and shoot cameras. Fun features include selectable music to go along with slide show playback on your HD TV.
The Lumix FX500 offers excellent image quality with a nice wide lens, intuitive touch screen controls and HD Movie recording. The feature set and quality make it very difficult to find a better camera even if you increase the cost by $50-$100.
